Emelie Forsberg joins the community

If you are an Outdoor enthusiast, you’ve no doubt already heard about Emelie. Her energy and kindness is unique in the world of skimo and skyrunning.

For some years now, she’s been also been advising the outdoors community concerning nutrition and our link with nature, in particular through Moonvalley—the sports nutrition brand she co-created with Ida Nilsson and Mimmi Kotka.

Needless to say, we are super happy to announce that Emelie is joining our team. The new collaboration has inspired her to strengthen her convictions about how sport should go hand-in-hand with nature protection. “I chose to be an athlete, but I have always struggled with part of me that feels I’m being selfish, by not contributing enough to protecting the natural world. All my life I’ve been passionate about nature, forests and mountains. That passion drove me through my university studies in biology, but I didn’t have the opportunity to do something about it.”

Becoming part of the NNormal team helps her realise her ambition to raise standards in the outdoor sports industry. “The core values and the philosophy of the project encourage me to think that I can be an athlete and help protect nature at the same time. I’m really excited about it—and it’s inspiring me to do even more!”

Emelie will wear NNormal equipment during her season, and we will keep you up to date about her progress.
