New go-to pair of shoes

As a two-time owner of the original Kjerag 01, I was eager to try the updated version. The new model maintains the rather wide fit, though it feels slightly smaller overall. I still need the largest size available, now perfect for me. The shoe is just as super light as before, and with added cushioning and a more pronounced rocker, it feels even more dynamic on the trail. I've taken the previous model on runs up to 80k and would certainly consider this one for ultras, depending on the terrain. The trade-off seems to be a slight loss of stability and ground feel compared to the older generation. Like the previous version, this model has no inner sole. However, I developed some blisters this time, which might be because I didn't break in the new shoes properly. It's become my go-to pair of shoes for most of my trail runs.

Chaussure parfaite (attention à la taille)

Chaussure parfaite (attention à la taille). Laçage largement amélioré. La chaussure est très stable et s’adapte à toutes les conditions. Le dynamisme autant que l’amorti sont au rendez-vous ce qui en fait la chaussure parfaite pour les trails assez roulants. À voir avec plus de cailloux. La durabilité est dans tous les cas un des points forts de la marque.

The best all round running shoe there is

I can't sing the praises of this shoe enough. After years of thinking higher stack running shoes would provide more cushion (and therefore protect my legs more during races) and that a carbon plate would make me 'faster', I ended up consistently having ankle problems as a result of both of these. This shoe, with its lower drop but super responsive foam, is the perfect solution for me. It is light, fast and super comfortable to wear for long days in the mountains, or even on the roads or local trails for that matter. It really is the perfect all-rounder.

Kjerag 2 is a Little softer than 1, but keeps good feeling of the ground when running. Worth trying it!

Parfait !

Super, encore mieux que les premières. La nouvelle languette est top, l’amorti devant et derrière plus important, ce qui fait du bien. Encore bien légère. Je les ai utilisé sur le GRP 50k et j’ai eu de super sensations. Le seul hic c’est la taille, qui a changé par rapport aux premières. J’avais un 38, soit 23cm et maintenant le 38 fait 23,7cm.

Un gran avance desde las originales Kjerag 01

La zapatilla se nota más ágil, más reactiva, y con un fit excelente gracias a la nueva lengueta. Quizás la estabilidad se ve algo mermada, por ese incremento de perfiles, pero no es nada grave, sigue siendo relativamente estable. Echo de menos un nuevo patrón para la suela, esta funciona de forma excelente en zonas compactas, pero no es la más adecuada para terreno descompuesto, como puede ser por ejemplo la usada en la Tomir. Quiźas para la siguiente iteración se podría ser un cambio interesante, un patrón más agresivo/polivalente, sin llegar a su hermana radical, la Kjerag Brut. En general, una zapatilla excelente, con acabados (ahora sí) premium, y un feeling brutal.

Mejora sustancial

Kjerag 02, una zapa nueva con respecto a la anterior, más cómoda, amortiguada, con un ajuste exquisito. Una de las grandes cosas que tenía el primer modelo era la suela, que ahora queda como la parte menos buena de la zapatilla. La nueva lengüeta es una pasada lo que ajusta, aunque es dificultosa de colocar, pero una vez hecho, la mejora es espacial. Creo que es mucho más versátil que el modelo prevente, igual de rápida (o más) pero sobretodo, permite que el rango de usuarios se multiplique. Enhorabuena por el producto, muy redondo.
