So awesome and useful
For big and rugged mountain adventures these running boots are almost perfect. I’m an Altra wide-foot zero-drop runner usually so am used to comfort being my priority - and these are comfortable. There is space for my foot and the upper gives enough to not pressure the big or little toes. Cushion is noticeably a bit softer than Tomir 1.0. Vibram means grip in the wet and the outsole is burly enough for the roughest terrain. These boots will see me through the Ouray 100 in July, I’m confident they’ll do the job - there’s no bigger recommendation than that.

Only for very restricted use case
Good boots, but strictly for dry weather. They absorb water instantly, so I'd advise against using them in mud or snow. However, their drainage capability is impressive—they expel water as fast as they take it in. In my opinion, their niche is quite narrow. Being non-waterproof boots, they seem limited to dry conditions below 15°C. In warmer temperatures or long distances, comfort becomes an issue. While they don't fit my needs, they could be useful for those trekking in dry, chilly climates where breathability is more important than protection. It is quite disappointing that the Tomir 1.0 offered better water resistance. It feels like a step backward or a very specific design choice that doesn't favor all-terrain use.
